The underdark

You awake in the darkness, your mouth is covered with the delectable taste of blood and you seem to be asleep on a pile of half eaten bodies, you are very full. Your surroundings are dark it seems to be a rich person's house. amongst the bodies you see a 3 small sacks of coins. One seems to be an arcanist and his blood is extremely delicious. around the room you see an arrangement of good furniture and bloodstains evrywhere. there is a door leading out the front and back into an alleyway. On the shelf there is one book that stands out it reads "nihle sine nefas" with the blood on the grimmore it seems to glow blood red along its edge and on the gold embossed runes and pentigram.

i take the three sacks and the book. i find a room to clean myself up in. once all cleaned up i go through the door into the alley and try to find the someone that can help me find my companions.

There is a man being beat by several gangsters at the other end of the alleyway, about 6 people, they look average but the man on the ground is well dressed with gold embroided silk clothing. they do not seem to notice you as they are at the other end of the alleyway. the book makes you happy as it smells strongly of fresh blood.

excuse me gentalmen but why are you beatting that man.(as i walk up calmly)

i prep action to life drain the nearest one.

(profane lifeleach is an area of effect.) "Hey fellas! we gots us some fresh meat... he looks like he wants to play a bit... hello little piggy looks like the priesthood let you out early..." they draw daggers and a sword and start walking towards you... the other man whimpers "noo... he has nothing to do with... with me... leave him... bee..." "Shut up old man, you may not have any money but that dosent mean boss will just let us come back, he looks like he might have a pretty penny, what you say? a hundred and we'll kill you quickly." there are 6 of them 80ft away walking about 30ft

kill are all of you so blood thursty.(activate profane life leach) i am more into proserving life because the after life is much too boring.(draws sword slowly)

Drawing your katana you hold up your hand and "Come you need not your life anymore..." Whisps of they're life force flow to your and into your mouth. 2 of them collapse... "You.. you... monster!!!" They drop theyre weapons and run as fast as they can down the alleyway... you feel strengthened... and you hunger for blood. you felt the life of 7 people...

just before i leave i examine the bodies for anything interesting.

The old man had a very nice signet... none of them are dead, all three are unconscious. the old man has several bruises but is otherwise okay. the two bandits are carrying irond daggers and are dressed in black. I assume u drank one of the the bandits and say hes dead now.

once the bodies are examined i try to follow the bandits. i also prep an attack spell

before leaving i heal the old man and cdagray the other bandit

you easily rip out the heart of the bandit and chew on the soft flesh as you cast a minor healing on the old man. "thankyou, i know not where you come from, but thankyou... i may not have much and have caused the silver wolf's gang's wrath upon you...there is little i can do but take this signet."

i take the signet. "may i ask what this signet is good sir and have you seen my friends around (insert the desription of each person i know).

no... but if it was in this neighborhood, ask around, you're more than welcome to stay the night at my house, he points through the alleyway across a street to a modest house, well decorated and with windows. there are rows and rows of books, i am sorry but there is little i can do but bore you but atleast i can offer you a bed if you are lost in this city for saving my life.

i will accept your offer and was wondering if u know anything about this book i found.(show him the blood stained book). i will have better luck finding my friends in the morning anyway.

(i close the door). i was attacked by a wolf creature and when i awoke this was in the room. i felt is was important so i took it hopeing it would help some how. why what do you know about it

(i follow) what is this u want me to drink and what will it do to me. aswell i primise not to tell another soul.

"That... <points to potion> is wolfsbane in case you caught lycanthropy, drink it, it will prevent you from turning for the next moon. THIS is my laboratry... <walking through the portal>."

there are hundreds of vials and circles on the ground, caged are demons elementals djins beasts and creatures of all kinds... "here i, along with the other warlocks aim to gain power, those foolish tower mages think we can do nothing, but it is THEY who will be powerless when the time comes!!!"

(i drink the viel) so why have you brought me here and what power do you and the others have that could make such a difference. and What do you all have agenst them

"They threw me from the circle of mages because of my unethical means but someday i shall rekindle the long lost art of bloodcasting, the once dead art created by the ancient vol priests of the first age!!! that book is like a tuning fork supposedly empowering and teaching different spells, it will guide you if you can use it... that tome has been lost for ages...can i see?"

in the name of my saviour vol this book shall not leave my hands. teach me more of this blood casting i only know a little of it. u can see the book as a follower of vol but u can not touch.
